Do you offer quantity or Military discounts? Yes, order 4 olive trees we will discount 10% off your order. A discount of 15% will be granted to orders of 12 or more trees. Single trees in honor of a veteran will receive a 10% discount. An olive grove in honor of your family is a unique & extraordinary gift that grows with your love.

Where are the trees planted? Olive Tree Memorials are planted on private estates and land within Italy & Sicily, as part of a beautification and conservation programs. The trees are planted in areas where they will flourish, as determined by the planters. You will receive a tree marker/map in which arrangements can be made to visit the tree when you travel to Italy or Sicily.

When are the trees planted? Olive Tree Memorials are planted during peak growing times of spring and fall. Exact planting times are being scheduled each season. Spring plantings (May) are for orders placed Novemember through April. Fall plantings (October Italian Heritage Month) are for orders placed May through September.

Can I visit my tree? We would love to assist you with a visitation. The trees planted are young appoximately 30 cm high and require time to adjust to their new setting. They will planted and marked in their natural setting. Prior arrangements need to be made for visitation, please contact us as we will be happy assist with this visit on your visit to Italy or Sicily.

Can I order a specific species of olive trees? We let the experts decide on the olive species application for each project. Only indigenous olive trees, which thrive in the country/province for which they are utilized, will be planted.

Who plants the trees? May I choose the location? Olive Tree Memorial supports recognized Italian & Sicilian farms to facilitate tree plantings. Eszter Vajda and Alfred Zappala, esq. of You, Me and Sicily! will supervise plantings done in the spring & fall seasons in Sicily. Olive Tree Memorial and their assigns reserve the right to order tree plantings in areas solely determined by the planters and/or land managers. Emergent plantings, soil stabilization as a result of fire, flood or pest infestation, program participation, weather and other factors will determine the planting site. These factors will supersede all other factors and conditions of planting.

What is the Sicilian Project? 10% of the purchase of an Olive Tree Memorial goes to The Sicilian Project a very special initiative. The Sicilian Project is a 501-C3 tax exempt organization that raises money from people throughout the United States and then we issue academic grants in Sicily in order to teach students how to speak, think and write the English language. Fluency in English for students will help then find good jobs and help stem the flight of these young, intelligent yet unemployed grads out of Sicily. they are Sicily's must valuable asset, and we must help them!
